This face grain cutting board was made from cherry wood with a black epoxy river. Generally it is not recommend to use epoxy in cutting boards because it can dull your knives and scratches easily. To prevent this the epoxy was poured towards the edge of the board to prevent damage and provide ample workspace . It's swirling pattern really compliments the figuring in the wood.
