A little about myself, I am Matthew Dyer Managing member and craftsmen for First State Garage Wood Works LLC. I've served in the Delaware Army National guard since 2014 and am still serving today. I have been wood working since 2017 but have a large background in mechanics and fabrication.
Originally, I mainly worked on cars and small equipment, I only dabbled here and there in wood working but never made a go of it. Until 2017 when my wife needed a new cutting board and I figured I'd give it a shot. To my surprise I fell in love with the community and the vast array of beautiful materials, every board is unique, and I strive to highlight that beauty in every single piece I make.
